“Pieces Of Me”. A composite painting based on a photograph and consisting of 64 individually painted panels (measuring 5 1/4″ x 8 1/4″ or 13 x 21 cm). Each panel is painted separately in either egg tempera, oil, encaustic or acrylic. Some panels were pre-prepared as a collage, according to the design, before painting commenced. All were then mounted on a backing board which also serves as a frame for hanging on the wall. Assembled weight with board is approximately 35 pounds.

The full size Image is 66″ x 42” or 168 x 106 cm, unframed (see spotlighted image above). Or framed, 69″ x 45″ or 175 x 114 cm, see image to the left. Thumbnail to the right, shows the image as it builds during the assembl process.
Happy Thanksgiving El and John, Thank you, El, for so diligently and tirelessly creating a true masterpiece… a masterwork… a legacy for those who come after, who will not believe all the effort, energy and ingenuity you put into this labor of love. Cheers! Congrats! Wow! I love you, Kin
